Alfie Thorne

Frontline soldier slayer of Britannia, known as the Wandering Lance. Trusted craft: Breach Drill. Died alongside their nemesis, Bogdan Dumitru.

Born in 1959 CE at Ashworthhaven, a mill town in Britannia, Alfie Thorne lived as an infantry conscript until the war found him. The slayer mantle came in 1983 CE, after he was left for dead in a burned granary and rose with the sun. Alfie never manifested a power; the edge came from Breach Drill and a titanium stake baton kept within reach. Across 6 years Alfie cleared 2 feeding grounds along Britannia's trade roads. In 1989 CE Alfie and Bogdan Dumitru, the Eternal Vespers, killed each other at Ashworthholt, and both legends stopped there. Alfie learned the craft under Mina Ahmadi, the Last Ward.
