Alvaro Duran

Elite charmer slayer of Iberia, known as the Veiled Lance. Wields Umbrakinesis: Nightfold. Fell to their nemesis, Rodrigo Ibanez.

Born in 1886 CE at Vecaria, a border town in Iberia, Alvaro Duran lived as a society hostess until the war found him. The slayer mantle came in 1912 CE, after he killed a vampire with nothing but a broken table leg, an act the elders called a sign. Through Nightfold, Alvaro folded shadow around allies and let it drink light from the room. Across 16 years Alvaro trained 2 lesser hunters who carried the fight forward. Rodrigo Ibanez, the Cold Tyrant, ended Alvaro's tenure in 1928 CE; the mantle passed on and the vampire walked away.
