Anas El-Idrissi

Veteran assassin slayer of Maghreb, known as the Crimson Bell. Trusted craft: Silent Draw. Feud with Youssef Berrada never resolved.

Born in 1485 CE at Tifbenketh, a cathedral quarter in Maghreb, Anas El-Idrissi lived as a blade for hire in the city stews until the war found him. The slayer mantle came in 1513 CE, the night a feeding party wiped out his household, when he survived and woke with the mantle burning in his palms. Anas never manifested a power; the edge came from Silent Draw and a crossbow with hawthorn bolts kept within reach. Across 17 years Anas burned out 6 nests hidden in cellars, tombs and cisterns. The rivalry with Youssef Berrada, the Sable Shadow, never reached a final reckoning; Anas died in 1530 CE of old wounds that never fully closed.
