Astrid Nygaard

Elite charmer vampire of Scandinavia, known as the Gilded Warlord. Wields Predator Senses: Nightsight. Still active today.

Born in 1850 CE at Ulfbjora, a harbor district in Scandinavia, Astrid Nygaard lived as a stage performer until being turned in 1878 CE. At a masked ball that Astrid never truly left, the guest of honor made her immortal. The maker was Milagros Rojas, the Silent Sovereign. Astrid rose within The Gilded Throne. Astrid tracked prey by heartbeat and scent through Nightsight. Over the years Astrid fed on 11 noble houses across Scandinavia without leaving a single witness. Astrid outlived the slayer Leif Solheim, the Pale Arrow, who fell in 1932 CE. Astrid remains active today. Known weaknesses: iron nails driven into the threshold, hawthorn or ash-wood through the heart.
