Bjorfroulf Yryrastulf

Veteran soldier slayer of Scandinavia, known as the Restless Ward. Trusted craft: Shield-Wall Doctrine. Fell to their nemesis, Yrhalar Vigguna.

Born in 728 CE at Bjorfroir, a monastery in Scandinavia, Bjorfroulf Yryrastulf lived as a garrison archer until the war found him. The slayer mantle came in 751 CE, when a dream of a figure made of dawn-light led him to an unmarked shrine. Bjorfroulf never manifested a power; the edge came from Shield-Wall Doctrine and a bow with sun-glass arrowheads kept within reach. Across 8 years Bjorfroulf trained 2 lesser hunters who carried the fight forward. Yrhalar Vigguna, the Eternal Mask, ended Bjorfroulf's tenure in 759 CE; the mantle passed on and the vampire walked away.
