Faaran Xerraes

Legendary soldier slayer of Persian Plateau, known as the Restless Flame. Wields Geokinesis: Stonebreak. Feud with Daran Arhores never resolved.

Born in 699 CE at Fakamian, a river port in Persian Plateau, Faaran Xerraes lived as a garrison archer until the war found him. The slayer mantle came in 730 CE, after he killed a vampire with nothing but a broken table leg, an act the elders called a sign. Stonebreak let Faaran raise walls, spikes and sudden pits from the ground itself. Across 18 years Faaran cleared 8 feeding grounds along Persian Plateau's trade roads. The rivalry with Daran Arhores, the Ashen Envoy, never reached a final reckoning; Faaran died in 748 CE at the siege of Vaxershaes. Flamarius Gasono, the Silent Flame, trained him in the mantle's craft.
