Faraur Dardaran

Elite broker vampire of Arabian Peninsula, known as the Velvet Sovereign. Wields Mind Reading: Lie Breaker. Outlived their nemesis, Vladraan Ververmir.

Born in 254 CE at Samua, a fortified abbey in Arabian Peninsula, Faraur Dardaran lived as a guild broker until being turned in 274 CE. Drowned in a river and pulled out by hands that were not entirely kind, Faraur woke different. The maker was Takon Tag, the Cold Shroud. Faraur rose within The Silent Cabal. Faraur used Lie Breaker to strip lies from a conversation as it happened. Over the years Faraur ran a network of 9 informants inside the local watch. Faraur outlived the slayer Vladraan Ververmir, the Thorned Warden, who fell in 308 CE. Faraur was destroyed in 760 CE in a fire at Ulnabulid. Known weaknesses: hawthorn or ash-wood through the heart, running water at a threshold.
