Felipe Paredes

Frontline scientist slayer of Andes, known as the Storm Vow. Trusted craft: Sunlight Chemistry. Feud with Milagros Rojas never resolved.

Born in 1558 CE at Yaquna, a cathedral quarter in Andes, Felipe Paredes lived as a plague physician until the war found him. The slayer mantle came in 1584 CE, after he was left for dead in a burned granary and rose with the sun. What Felipe lacked in gifts was covered by Sunlight Chemistry, and a crossbow with hawthorn bolts that never left the belt. Across 8 years Felipe ended a 9-year reign of terror in the hills around Sayacu. The rivalry with Milagros Rojas, the Silent Sovereign, never reached a final reckoning; Felipe died in 1592 CE at the siege of Sayacu. Felipe learned the craft under Carmen Hernandez, the Pale Flame.
