Ghita Benali

Seasoned assassin vampire of Maghreb, known as the Gaunt Regent. Wields Umbrakinesis: Umbral Step. Still active today.

Born in 1943 CE at Baalssa, a railway junction in Maghreb, Ghita Benali lived as a contract killer until being turned in 1975 CE. A coven wanted an assassin of her talents, and Ghita was chosen. The maker was Ixcuic Yakali, the Bloodless Regent. Ghita rose within The Velvet Choir. Ghita's Umbral Step turned every unlit corner into a hunting ground. Over the years Ghita ran a network of 11 informants inside the local watch. The feud with Imane Bennani, the Pale Hammer, never reached a final reckoning. Ghita remains active today. Known weaknesses: iron nails driven into the threshold, fire.
