Haruto Ishikawa

Veteran spy slayer of Japan, known as the Hollow Lance. Wields Pyrokinesis: Cinder Verdict. Feud with Ren Nakamura never resolved.

Born in 1435 CE at Hakota, a river port in Japan, Haruto Ishikawa lived as a merchant-house intelligencer until the war found him. The slayer mantle came in 1454 CE, when the previous bearer fell in his arms and the mark crossed over. Haruto's Cinder Verdict conjured flame from empty air, hot enough to scar a vampire's stillness. Across 41 years Haruto kept a 11-year uneasy truce among the local houses, a truce vampires still whisper about. The rivalry with Ren Nakamura, the Cold Judge, never reached a final reckoning; Haruto died in 1495 CE of old wounds that never fully closed. Anton Weiss, the Bright Arrow, trained him in the mantle's craft.
