Hayden Brennan

Frontline engineer slayer of Oceania, known as the Pale Bell. Wields Mind Reading: Open Book. Died alongside their nemesis, Killa Rojas.

Born in 1945 CE at McAllisterhaven, a railway junction in Oceania, Hayden Brennan lived as a systems engineer until the war found him. The slayer mantle came in 1977 CE, after he was left for dead in a burned granary and rose with the sun. Hayden used Open Book to strip lies from a conversation as it happened. Across 7 years Hayden held 12 sunrise vigils over besieged towns. In 1984 CE Hayden and Killa Rojas, the Black Hunger, killed each other at Gallagherhaven, and both legends stopped there. Hayden learned the craft under Hieu Hoang, the Iron Sentinel.
