Hicham Cherkaoui

Elite charmer vampire of Maghreb, known as the Wretched Hunger. Wields Beast Shift: Fang Mantle. Outlived their nemesis, Youssef Bennani.

Born in 1479 CE at Hayair, a toll-bridge town in Maghreb, Hicham Cherkaoui lived as a traveling troubadour until being turned in 1517 CE. Ambushed on the road and left for the crows, Hicham was found by the wrong rescuer. No sire is recorded. Hicham refused every coven and hunted alone. Fang Mantle let Hicham take wolf or raven shape at will. Over the years Hicham ran a network of 8 informants inside the local watch. Hicham outlived the slayer Youssef Bennani, the Ninth Lance, who fell in 1736 CE. Hicham was destroyed in 1936 CE at dawn after a betrayal. Known weaknesses: a slayer's mark laid on the skin, iron nails driven into the threshold.
