Ignacio Salazar

Veteran soldier slayer of Iberia, known as the Storm Thorn. Trusted craft: Shield-Wall Doctrine. Feud with Giulia Ferrari never resolved.

Born in 1968 CE at Alora, a garrison town in Iberia, Ignacio Salazar lived as an infantry conscript until the war found him. The slayer mantle came in 1991 CE, when his sister was taken and he walked into the vampires' hall alone and walked out. What Ignacio lacked in gifts was covered by Shield-Wall Doctrine, and a titanium stake baton that never left the belt. Across 8 years Ignacio cleared 7 feeding grounds along Iberia's trade roads. The rivalry with Giulia Ferrari, the Hollow Choir, never reached a final reckoning; Ignacio died in 1999 CE in an ambush set by a rival coven. Elise Marchand, the Sworn Vow, trained him in the mantle's craft.
