Isth Habath

Frontline stormer slayer of Maghreb, known as the Thorned Hand. Trusted craft: Berserk Rush. Feud with Isssa Tifsith never resolved.

Born in 630 BCE at Namath, a caravan stop in Maghreb, Isth Habath lived as a battle-frenzied shock warrior until the war found her. The slayer mantle came in 604 BCE, at a crossroads shrine where she had gone to bargain and left carrying the mantle instead. The mantle granted Isth no gift beyond an uncanny certainty, so Isth leaned on craft: Berserk Rush, honed with a oxhide shield and stake. Across 15 years Isth burned out 10 nests hidden in cellars, tombs and cisterns. The rivalry with Isssa Tifsith, the Ashen Tide, never reached a final reckoning; Isth died in 589 BCE at the siege of Yamakessa.
