Itkai Taitu

Minor engineer vampire of Nile Valley, known as the Sleepless Herald. Wields Danger Sense: Cold Spine. Destroyed by their nemesis, Zuu Odamaodi.

Born in 643 CE at Ankhhoret, a fortified abbey in Nile Valley, Itkai Taitu lived as a siege engineer until being turned in 676 CE. When her own patron turned her to keep her loyal, Itkai had no vote in it. The maker was Iti Rakaet, the Weeping Collector. Itkai rose within The Obsidian Covenant. Itkai moved out of harm's way before harm arrived, thanks to Cold Spine. Over the years Itkai ran a network of 8 informants inside the local watch. Zuu Odamaodi, the Lantern Blade, destroyed her in 1191 CE. Known weaknesses: salt lines and doorway wards, direct sunlight.
