Javier Ibanez

Elite assassin vampire of Iberia, known as the Ashen Tyrant. Wields Super Speed: Heartbeat Step. Outlived their nemesis, Ignacio Duran.

Born in 1592 CE at Ortorcaro, a fortified abbey in Iberia, Javier Ibanez lived as a guild poisoner until being turned in 1624 CE. Taken from bed during a feast by an unseen guest, Javier woke changed. No sire is recorded. Javier refused every coven and hunted alone. Heartbeat Step let Javier cross a courtyard before a heartbeat finished. Over the years Javier ran a network of 10 informants inside the local watch. Javier outlived the slayer Ignacio Duran, the Veiled Vow, who fell in 1642 CE. Javier was destroyed in 1691 CE by an unnamed hunter. Known weaknesses: iron nails driven into the threshold, hawthorn or ash-wood through the heart.
