Jian Huang

Minor detective vampire of Yellow River Basin, known as the Wretched Sovereign. Wields Hemokinesis: Red Tide. Still active today.

Born in 1899 CE at Mingjiaren, a mining town in Yellow River Basin, Jian Huang lived as a private investigator until being turned in 1921 CE. Out of hunger for a longer life than the one on offer, Jian sought out the bite. The maker was Nisha Mehta, the Ivory Collector. Jian rose within The Hollow Brood. Red Tide let Jian steer blood inside living veins and outside them. Over the years Jian raised 3 fledglings to hold Yellow River Basin's trade roads at night. Jian outlived the slayer Lian Huang, the Silent Sentinel, who fell in 1960 CE. Jian remains active today. Known weaknesses: direct sunlight, fire.
