Kibae Kekau

Seasoned charmer vampire of West Africa, known as the Pale Warlord. Wields Mist Form: Pale Drift. Still active today.

Born in 982 CE at Kamoe, a toll-bridge town in West Africa, Kibae Kekau lived as a courtier until being turned in 1005 CE. Fleeing debtors, Kibae sheltered in the wrong cellar. The maker was Meni Rameset, the Ashen Shroud. Kibae rose within The Velvet Throne. Pale Drift let Kibae dissolve into mist and slip under doors and through sword-guards. Over the years Kibae fed on 3 noble houses across West Africa without leaving a single witness. Kibae outlived the slayer Zuo Batoa, the Burning Hound, who fell in 1026 CE. Kibae remains active today. Known weaknesses: iron nails driven into the threshold, a slayer's mark laid on the skin.
