Leila Nazari

Minor assassin vampire of Persian Plateau, known as the Velvet Hunger. Wields Fear Projection: Dread Tide. Outlived their nemesis, Hieu Vu.

Born in 1548 CE at Xertaush, a walled town in Persian Plateau, Leila Nazari lived as a blade for hire in the city stews until being turned in 1567 CE. Bargaining with a coven for a child's life, Leila paid with her own. The maker was Rin Fujimoto, the Black Duelist. Leila rose within The Gilded Court. Dread Tide let Leila pour dread into a crowd until knees gave out. Over the years Leila raised 2 fledglings to hold Persian Plateau's trade roads at night. Leila outlived the slayer Hieu Vu, the Sworn Warden, who fell in 1608 CE. Leila was sealed away in 1672 CE beneath Horrashaes. Known weaknesses: direct sunlight, hawthorn or ash-wood through the heart.
