Liv Dahl

Veteran thief slayer of Scandinavia, known as the Steadfast Torch. Trusted craft: Lift and Vanish. Feud with Sven Lindqvist never resolved.

Born in 1820 CE at Vigingastir, a mining town in Scandinavia, Liv Dahl lived as a cat burglar until the war found her. The slayer mantle came in 1846 CE, when she recognized a neighbor as a vampire and could not stop her hands moving. What Liv lacked in gifts was covered by Lift and Vanish, and a lantern with magnesium flash that never left the belt. Across 37 years Liv hunted 3 vampire lords out of Scandinavia's cities. The rivalry with Sven Lindqvist, the Whispering Marrow, never reached a final reckoning; Liv died in 1883 CE of a fever unrelated to the war. Adaeze Adeyemi, the Sunlit Hammer, trained her in the mantle's craft.
