Lucien Marchand

Veteran hunter slayer of Gaul, known as the Last Thorn. Wields Phantasm: Ghost Door. Feud with Taha Ki never resolved.

Born in 1303 CE at Catmaon, a market town in Gaul, Lucien Marchand lived as a huntsman of the lord's wood until the war found him. The slayer mantle came in 1327 CE, at a crossroads shrine where he had gone to bargain and left carrying the mantle instead. Ghost Door let Lucien conjure convincing illusions of armies, doorways and faces. Across 24 years Lucien broke 4 covens across Gaul. The rivalry with Taha Ki, the Weeping Judge, never reached a final reckoning; Lucien died in 1351 CE when a hunt went wrong in the dark.
