Margaux Rousseau

Veteran gangster slayer of Gaul, known as the Rising Sentinel. Wields Super Strength: Mountain Grip. Feud with Julien Fontaine never resolved.

Born in 1982 CE at Vinebix, a railway junction in Gaul, Margaux Rousseau lived as a dockside racketeer until the war found her. The slayer mantle came in 2007 CE, the winter the wells froze red and she was the only one who understood why. Margaux's Mountain Grip could lift a wagon from a ditch or tear a door from its frame. Across 14 years Margaux ended a 11-year reign of terror in the hills around Tavermaorix. The rivalry with Julien Fontaine, the Hollow Herald, never reached a final reckoning; Margaux died in 2021 CE in an ambush set by a rival coven. Erik Bergstrom, the Salt Torch, trained her in the mantle's craft.
