Nimaesh Pranian

Frontline spy slayer of Indus and Ganges Plain, known as the Rising Shield. Trusted craft: Web of Whispers. Fell to their nemesis, Waimara Kohata.

Born in 1278 CE at Bhadean, a fortified abbey in Indus and Ganges Plain, Nimaesh Pranian lived as an ambassador's cipher clerk until the war found him. The slayer mantle came in 1301 CE, when he recognized a neighbor as a vampire and could not stop his hands moving. What Nimaesh lacked in gifts was covered by Web of Whispers, and a barbed hunting spear that never left the belt. Across 7 years Nimaesh held 13 sunrise vigils over besieged towns. Waimara Kohata, the Gaunt Tyrant, ended Nimaesh's tenure in 1308 CE; the mantle passed on and the vampire walked away.
