Chosen aboard a slave ship; first Maahes to hold the mantle in the diaspora

The first Maahes of the diaspora. The mantle chose him aboard a slave ship in the middle of the Atlantic, in the dark of the hold. He heard the Roll for the first time in the voices of every Maahes before him, speaking to him through the hull. He landed in Jamaica, lived for nearly thirty years, and taught the old songs to everyone who would listen.
