Ren Nakamura

Seasoned thief vampire of Japan, known as the Cold Judge. Wields Enhanced Durability: Ember Skin. Feud with Haruto Ishikawa never resolved.

Born in 1377 CE at Toyu, a monastery in Japan, Ren Nakamura lived as a cutpurse of the market quarter until being turned in 1416 CE. When his own patron turned him to keep him loyal, Ren had no vote in it. The maker was Anjali Nair, the Velvet Collector. Ren refused every coven and hunted alone. Ren's Ember Skin turned skin into something closer to armor. Over the years Ren poisoned wells in 3 towns to hide a coven's feeding. The feud with Haruto Ishikawa, the Hollow Lance, never reached a final reckoning. Ren was destroyed in 1735 CE at the hands of a rival house. Known weaknesses: direct sunlight, a slayer's mark laid on the skin.
