Rentau Rameset

Frontline hunter slayer of Nile Valley, known as the Vigil Lantern. Wields Danger Sense: Blade's Whisper. Feud with Maala Habassa never resolved.

Born in 422 CE at Kheamunraet, a monastery in Nile Valley, Rentau Rameset lived as a huntsman of the lord's wood until the war found him. The slayer mantle came in 455 CE, when his sister was taken and he walked into the vampires' hall alone and walked out. Rentau moved out of harm's way before harm arrived, thanks to Blade's Whisper. Across 21 years Rentau hunted 10 vampire lords out of Nile Valley's cities. The rivalry with Maala Habassa, the Ivory Warlord, never reached a final reckoning; Rentau died in 476 CE at the siege of Khehoret.
