Sabine Rousseau

Elite vigilante slayer of Gaul, known as the Dawnborn Arrow. Wields Mind Reading: Lie Breaker. Feud with Mabelos Belcinorix never resolved.

Born in 1676 CE at Rigcinmaon, a railway junction in Gaul, Sabine Rousseau lived as a neighborhood guardian until the war found her. The slayer mantle came in 1707 CE, after she killed a vampire with nothing but a broken table leg, an act the elders called a sign. Sabine used Lie Breaker to strip lies from a conversation as it happened. Across 22 years Sabine trained 4 lesser hunters who carried the fight forward. The rivalry with Mabelos Belcinorix, the Gaunt Envoy, never reached a final reckoning; Sabine died in 1729 CE in an ambush set by a rival coven. Sabine learned the craft under Carmen Toma, the Burning Lance.
