Selam Gebre

Veteran assassin slayer of Horn of Africa, known as the Last Torch. Wields Danger Sense: Cold Spine. Destroyed their nemesis, Tigist Assefa.

Born in 1907 CE at Yaahmeke, a old quarter in Horn of Africa, Selam Gebre lived as a retired intelligence wet-worker until the war found her. The slayer mantle came in 1941 CE, on the road home from a wedding, when she was the only guest still standing. Cold Spine made Selam's skin prickle a heartbeat before any blade fell. Across 30 years Selam burned out 7 nests hidden in cellars, tombs and cisterns. The war with Tigist Assefa, the Wretched Marrow, ended in 1971 CE, when the vampire was finally destroyed at Kiluas. Selam learned the craft under Kostas Vlachos, the Ninth Arrow.
