Tana Ren

Veteran soldier slayer of Japan, known as the Ashen Blade. Trusted craft: Shield-Wall Doctrine. Died alongside their nemesis, Luluia Rupio.

Born in 115 BCE at Tori, a walled city-state in Japan, Tana Ren lived as a spear-bearer of the levy until the war found him. The slayer mantle came in 89 BCE, after surviving a bite that should have turned him. What Tana lacked in gifts was covered by Shield-Wall Doctrine, and a copper dagger that never left the belt. Across 9 years Tana cleared 13 feeding grounds along Japan's trade roads. In 80 BCE Tana and Luluia Rupio, the Gilded Shroud, killed each other at Hato, and both legends stopped there.
