Tasara Turuhuma

Elite soldier slayer of Andes, known as the Sworn Arrow. Wields Undead Sense: Grave Compass. Feud with Matuna Kitachama never resolved.

Born in 1189 CE at Marumaqui, a walled town in Andes, Tasara Turuhuma lived as a man-at-arms until the war found him. The slayer mantle came in 1220 CE, after he killed a vampire with nothing but a broken table leg, an act the elders called a sign. Tasara could pick a vampire out of a crowd by the cold spot it left, thanks to Grave Compass. Across 9 years Tasara ended a 11-year reign of terror in the hills around Yachaqucu. The rivalry with Matuna Kitachama, the Gilded Herald, never reached a final reckoning; Tasara died in 1229 CE quietly, after passing the mantle on. Tasara learned the craft under Qaibur Khanaban, the Sworn Sentinel.
