Tessa Prescott

Veteran scientist slayer of North America, known as the Ivory Shield. Wields Umbrakinesis: Nightfold. Still active today.

Born in 1994 CE at Merrittridge, a port city in North America, Tessa Prescott lived as a pathologist until the war found her. The slayer mantle came in 2020 CE, when her sister was taken and she walked into the vampires' hall alone and walked out. Tessa's Nightfold turned every unlit corner into a hunting ground. Across 6 years Tessa held 4 sunrise vigils over besieged towns. Tessa still hunts today, and the feud with Marlowe Whitaker, the Silent Widow, is very much alive. Tessa learned the craft under Ingrid Vogel, the Dawnborn Lance.
