Tora Ortiia

Minor thief vampire of Iberia, known as the Cold Mask. Wields Fear Projection: The Long Shiver. Feud with Veoria Robaino never resolved.

Born in 702 CE at Veroino, a walled town in Iberia, Tora Ortiia lived as a cutpurse of the market quarter until being turned in 729 CE. At a masked ball that Tora never truly left, the guest of honor made her immortal. The maker was Ixcuic Yakali, the Bloodless Regent. Tora rose within The Velvet Choir. The Long Shiver let Tora pour dread into a crowd until knees gave out. Over the years Tora pitted 5 rival houses against each other and profited from every fall. The feud with Veoria Robaino, the Salt Lance, never reached a final reckoning. Tora was destroyed in 1196 CE in a coven purge. Known weaknesses: silver-tipped weapons, iron nails driven into the threshold.
