Vera Orlov

Seasoned stormer vampire of Eurasian Steppe, known as the Gilded Regent. Wields Super Speed: Heartbeat Step. Feud with Costin Barbu never resolved.

Born in 1601 CE at Vervlasvyka, a cathedral quarter in Eurasian Steppe, Vera Orlov lived as a shock-trooper until being turned in 1631 CE. In a plague pit, a vampire found Vera still breathing and made a different use of her. The maker was Gortuan Svyturosov, the Black Collector. Vera rose within The Obsidian Table. Heartbeat Step let Vera cross a courtyard before a heartbeat finished. Over the years Vera ran a network of 3 informants inside the local watch. The feud with Costin Barbu, the Salt Warden, never reached a final reckoning. Vera was destroyed in 1897 CE at dawn after a betrayal. Known weaknesses: silver-tipped weapons, direct sunlight.
