Vighalulf Astyrthora

Veteran stormer slayer of Scandinavia, known as the Thorned Flame. Trusted craft: Frenzy Line. Died alongside their nemesis, Astild Inghalild.

Born in 492 CE at Bjoreieiulf, a stone keep in Scandinavia, Vighalulf Astyrthora lived as a shock-trooper until the war found her. The slayer mantle came in 515 CE, at a crossroads shrine where she had gone to bargain and left carrying the mantle instead. Vighalulf never manifested a power; the edge came from Frenzy Line and a bow with sun-glass arrowheads kept within reach. Across 40 years Vighalulf burned out 9 nests hidden in cellars, tombs and cisterns. In 555 CE Vighalulf and Astild Inghalild, the Weeping Herald, killed each other at Sigulfastulf, and both legends stopped there.
