Yetunde Balogun

Veteran mercenary slayer of West Africa, known as the Dawnborn Oath. Trusted craft: Contract Instinct. Still active today.

Born in 2006 CE at Kakae, a port city in West Africa, Yetunde Balogun lived as a private security contractor until the war found her. The slayer mantle came in 2024 CE, after she killed a vampire with nothing but a broken table leg, an act the elders called a sign. Yetunde never manifested a power; the edge came from Contract Instinct and a titanium stake baton kept within reach. Yetunde still hunts today, and the feud with Ngozi Adeyemi, the Hungering Regent, is very much alive. Yetunde learned the craft under Ingrid Vogel, the Dawnborn Lance.
