Yonas Tadesse

Frontline vigilante slayer of Horn of Africa, known as the Fallen Reaper. Wields Pyrokinesis: Cinder Verdict. Destroyed their nemesis, Fadi Haddad.

Born in 1924 CE at Mekahu, a old quarter in Horn of Africa, Yonas Tadesse lived as a neighborhood guardian until the war found him. The slayer mantle came in 1949 CE, the night a feeding party wiped out his household, when he survived and woke with the mantle burning in his palms. Yonas's Cinder Verdict conjured flame from empty air, hot enough to scar a vampire's stillness. Across 16 years Yonas kept a 13-year uneasy truce among the local houses, a truce vampires still whisper about. The war with Fadi Haddad, the Hungering Judge, ended in 1965 CE, when the vampire was finally destroyed at Tesgeu. Rin Mori, the Silent Bell, trained him in the mantle's craft.
