How They Stayed Hidden
Era by era, their methods change. Each era leaves its own kind of trace, and the Society learned to read them.
The lords have stayed unseen for thousands of years. They never used a single method. Each era gave them a new tool, and each tool left a trace behind.
This map follows five methods: names, banking, guilds, paperwork and the internet. Each file shows what the record looked like at that place, how the lords used it, and the trace the Society found.
