A next-generation soft armor textile: a standard aramid (Kevlar) ballistic weave reinforced with a carbon-fibre lattice woven through the fibre bundle itself rather than layered on top of it. The result is a fabric that resists both penetrating cuts and blunt ballistic impact while remaining thin and flexible enough to wear as an undersuit rather than a rigid plate carrier.
The carbon-fibre reinforcement also disrupts the weave's acoustic signature - it flexes and settles more quietly than plain Kevlar, which matters more to an operator relying on stealth than to conventional body-armor users. It is not rated against sustained automatic fire or edged weapons swung with full force; its strength is silent, everyday protection against knives, glass, and stray rounds, not a substitute for hard armor.
