Composite Greaves

A pair of full-coverage greaves, a rigid composite shell over a padded liner, wrapping the shin and calf together rather than the shin alone, giving noticeably broader lower-leg protection than a simple shin guard.

The added coverage brings added weight and a slight reduction in ankle flexibility, a trade-off suited to a sustained confrontation rather than fast, evasive movement.
