Insulated Thermal Bodysuit

A tightly insulated bodysuit built to hold body heat in genuinely extreme cold, thin enough that other armour or equipment can still be layered comfortably over it rather than forcing a choice between warmth and protection.

Its insulation becomes a liability in warm conditions, trapping heat and causing rapid overheating if worn somewhere it isn't needed, so it is a situational rather than an all-purpose piece.
