Layered Combat Gauntlets

A pair of heavy-duty gauntlets combining a hard outer shell over the knuckles and back of the hand with a padded inner layer, extending protection past the wrist to cover the lower forearm as well, well beyond what a simple glove or knuckle guard alone would offer.

Their added bulk noticeably reduces fine finger dexterity compared to a lighter glove, a trade-off accepted specifically for close-quarters durability over precision.
