Communications Equipment

A low-profile throat-mic and bone-conduction earpiece set, paired with a chest-mounted encrypted radio unit. Bone conduction lets the wearer hear traffic without blocking the ear canal - keeping situational hearing intact - while the throat mic can pick up subvocalised speech quiet enough not to carry past a few feet.

The unit hops frequencies on a rolling encrypted schedule, making casual scanner interception impractical, though it is not hardened against a dedicated, well-resourced signals-intelligence effort.
