Long-Distance Signal Flag Kit

A set of high-contrast flags in a few simple, agreed colours and patterns, letting a team signal to one another across open ground or between vantage points when radio contact is jammed, dead, or simply too risky to use.

It requires a clear line of sight and daylight or good lighting to be read at any real distance, and its signals are as visible to an unintended observer as to the intended one.
