Smoke Bomb Kit

A set of small, palm-sized canisters that rupture on impact to release a dense cloud of smoke, instantly cutting visibility across a room or a stretch of street and giving the user a critical few seconds to break line of sight or slip away unseen.

The smoke disperses within a couple of minutes and offers no protection from anything beyond concealment, so timing its use well matters more than the canister itself.
