Covert Wall Camera

A tiny camera built into the housing of an everyday wall fixture - a smoke detector, an outlet, a clock - recording a room continuously while looking exactly like the object it's disguised as to anyone glancing around.

Its battery or storage capacity is limited by its small size, so it usually needs periodic servicing or a wired power source for genuinely long-term monitoring.
