License Plate Reader

A camera unit that automatically captures and logs the license plate of every vehicle passing within its view, comparing each one instantly against a watchlist and flagging a match without needing anyone to watch the feed directly.

Its accuracy drops in poor lighting or against a dirty or partially obscured plate, and it can only flag a plate that's already been added to its watchlist in advance.
