Silent Shutter Camera

A specially modified camera whose shutter mechanism has been engineered to make no audible sound at all, letting the user photograph a document, a person, or a scene from close range without the telltale click that would otherwise give the moment away.

Its silence comes from a mechanism more delicate and expensive than a standard shutter, so it needs more careful handling and maintenance to stay reliable.
