Portable Vice Clamp

A compact vice that clamps securely onto almost any table edge, railing, or beam, holding a piece of work steady with both hands free for a repair, an assembly, or any fine, careful task that needs a firm base.

Its clamping strength depends on finding a suitably sturdy edge to attach to, and it offers nowhere near the stability of a properly bolted-down workshop vice.
