Stealth Glider Drone

A fixed-wing drone that spends most of a mission gliding rather than under active power, its motor used only in short bursts to regain altitude, giving it a far longer, quieter observation window over a wide area than a standard rotor drone could manage.

Its fixed-wing design means it needs open space and forward airspeed to stay aloft, so it isn't suited to hovering over a single fixed point the way a quadcopter can, trading that flexibility for range and quiet.
