Combat Cleaver

A wide, heavy-bladed cleaver, its weight concentrated forward for a chopping strike far more forceful than its short length would suggest. Originally a field and utility blade, its low cost and easy availability have made it a common choice for operators without access to more purpose-built weapons.

Its short reach demands the wielder close to genuinely close range to be effective, and its single-edge design offers essentially no defensive use against an incoming strike.
